Liverpool star signs contract extension to end speculation.

Most liverpool stars are turning on their final year at Anfield and their future is still unknown. However, for James Milner,it is now officially confirmed that the versatile midfielder will be here to stay and his job is not yet done.The star has signed a contract extension for one year although with reduced personal terms.

Milner  has 289 appearances for the Merseyside red since joining from man city and as well finding the back of the net 26 times.After featuring in 39 games last season, it just shows that the veteran player is key in Jurgen Klopp's plans going into next season despite his age.

Klopp's preference for the player may be largely due to his versatility given that he can play as a winger,attacking central midfielder, holding midfielder as well as a makeshift full back.

The future of his fellow teammates M.Salah,Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino ,Naby Keita and Oxlade Chamberlain remain up in the air as they head into their final twelve months with no contract extension yet to be announced.

Man united bid farewell to their midfield maestro.what a loss!!

It all bad news to all man united fans especially those who fancy the French midfield maestro Paul Pogba.This is after the club hierarchy officially released a statement bidding farewell to the star thanking him for his services since 2016. The farewell included a video showing some of the star's best moments at the club and a message that read "Once a red always a red.Thank you for  your services@Paulpogba" This was pogba's second stint at old traford having earlier left united for Juventus in 2012 on a free transfer.
