Mohammed Salah beats De Bruyne to bag his second PFA award.
Liverpool attacker Mohammed Salah has been voted as the PFA player of the year for the ended season after his stellar performance for the reds. The Egyptian who also shared the EPL golden boot with Tottenham midfielder Son Heung Min played a key role which saw his team win Fa cup and Carabao cup as well as keeping his team in the tight title race against Manchester city with the latter winning it.
This award becomes his second award since he joined Liverpool back in 2016 from Roma.
Speaking after the award Salah revealed his happinesses which he cited that it was a good reward that recognizes his good work and from his speech he was looking forward to win it.
PFA award which is voted by former and present professional footballers,aims to award individual player's output into his team.Other players who had been nominated for the award include the former winner De Bruyne,Cristiano Ronaldo,Harry Kane,Sadio Mane and Virgil Van Dijk
